Hi,
I urge school to tell me when will they conduct test for 1st Standard admission and also for 7th Std admission.
This is important that we need to apply for TC in the currect school on or before 31st Feb 2011. I am very badly stuck.
I seek school admission team to please reply on this comment.

Even my child is studying in this school. When I joined my child, I felt there were very good teachers. But later years, I feel many of the good teachers are resigned. Now I feel the quality of the teachers and teaching is going down considerably. This is not only my opinion, I heard it from many parents. All of them are feeling the quality of education is less for the amount they are paying.
Eg: With some teachers, students are not encouraged to ask questions. If they asked, they will get scolding.
I suggest the principal Mrs. Rama Ranganathan to take some corrective measures to keep quality teachers.

Hi,
I always heard that NHVPS is very serious about the 10th Std exams. My dream was to admit my second daughter in this school and I thought of trying for admission to High School.
But I understand that the seriousness is no more. Though I know through my friends that the coaching in this school is good, as per the discussions i have heard of, I do not see the seriousness of class X exams in this school as it is supposed to be when compared to any other school. It seems SA1 results are also not announced of any class (be it 8th, 9th or 10th). I am really surprised at the same.
My daughter also studies in a CBSE school and the SA1 results are announced and the answer papers are shared. I do not know what the Principal is doing in NHVPS.
Knowing this, I have a second thought of getting my 2nd daughter admitted in National Hill View Public school. If the same continues, NHVPS will surely loose its reputation.

Recently, I enquired for admission at NHVPS for my niece for V-Std. I was told there will be a test conducted in April I week and after that admissions will be decided.
The inside info I’d gathered earlier most of their admissions are already decided. This only looks like an eyewash. Probably they wish to dodge officials from the State Edn. Dept…
As for the fee structure, they donot discuss with the parents if they approach school authorities. Which apparantly means to say this will most likely be out of reach for the higher middle-class.
Be prepared to shell out anywhere above Rs. 1 Lakh. I was told by the school that “only after admission is confirmed, the fee structure will be discusses. until then there is no need to reveal all that” !!
Most likely reason for this is:
Every parent who approaches them should not be told upfront the fee-details; or else it will become the talking point. On the other hand, if only the admission-confirmed-parent is told, then he/she may not be inclined to discuss it with everyone. They probably want to maintain a veil of secrecy around the whole thing and give anxious moments to all parents and a relief to select few later!!

this skool rox in academics but at the same time its bad when it comes to sports. if u like basket ball pls join this skool bcz basket ball is played by almost everyone. the principal and the games teachers send the students to many basketball competitions.
