Not giving proper attention for the preparation of students for entrance exams. Children’s fundas are not getting developed.Fee is as high as a good school. Faculty and facilities are not up to the mark. Management has to take input from this and grow accordingly.Eventhough affiliated to CBSE, they are not following NCERT books. NCERT books are very cheap and excellent quality. It is even the base for IIT,IIM and IAS.They are using poor quality ( contentwise) books, but they are very costly too.
Request presidency to follow NCERT books. The difference of cost can be paid to the school, if needed.

As a student who is currently studying in the school, I feel that the school has gone a long way since it began in 2008. Of course, even the principal himself cannot deny that there have been many hiccups along the way……The worst thing about the school remains that it does not appreciate students’ effort in helping the staff and are more concerned about attaching AC’s to the walls of the classroom rather than ensuring over-all development of their students. But kudos to the faculty…….they are the force that has pulled me back from applying for TC over the past 3 years.

Latest problem with the school is they have shifted all KG1 sections into the basement with no natural light or ventilation. They don’t have any capacity planning in place. Admitted new students in lure of money and filled up coffers without adequate space in place. Now the little toddlers are made to sit in dens of darkness. They are forced to walk up to the ground floor even for basic needs as rest rooms. They have installed ACs without proper wiring and in a hurry, due to which there is a serious threat of short circuit and fire accidents. Already one such incident has been reported. When confronted for explanation, the Principal and his staff were found lying and hurling abuses and threats on parents.
They explain this is a short term makeshift arragement but for how long?
They say 6 months to 1 yr until they find an alternative site and construct the building. Because of this issue, even good teachers have quit the school and the rest are just bearing the oppression of the admin and management

I have joined my daughter in the 1st class and had to discontinue her in the mid year as it was creating a mental trauma and depression to my child. The management is very arrogant and the teacher are verbally abusive mongers who does not care for the sensitivites of the childern. They run the school as one military estabilshment and torture the students to their limits. Thats not all.. They do bossing on the parents and give lectures on how the childern should be taught. They give a entire lessions as home work and they inisit the parents on getting it done. Then what the hell should a parent is paying for if the entire teachings are done by the parents? There are absolutely no playground no proper eminities and they dont even attend to the emergencies of childern such as urinals or loos. This is one really shit school which i would warn any parent who even thinks of joing their kids..

Veena the teacher for Maths is hopeless…She is very strict and students fear her.

New teachers on Board…Not Good…Especially heard a lot abt Veena who teaches Maths …Petrifying
[Reply]
The teachers refuse to give the mobile numbers and also the if we call the office to report for absenteeism, nobody answers. They just need money to make business and not value kids
[Reply]
The school does not seem to have good teachers..They have inducted all new teachers this year and probaly do not know how to teach childreen and handle them. i heard one teacher slapped a kid on his bday from 4th standard. Also teachers like Veena who teaches maths are very strict and the kids literally cry in the sleep fearing to go to school. Some teachers are extremely fast and do not wait for the kids to complete their work.
The Principal speaks high of the education system, but no action

The school has hiked the fees very high and the annual fees collected was 11000 for 2010-11 and now it has been raiseed to 14000. What is this annual fee ? They have been promised field trips but only one trip has been arranged by the school for the kids. They say this fee is for activities but I cant see what activity they do is so expensive to deserve this kind of money. They are not concerned with the burden of the parents in these troubled times and are charging almost 70000 yearly fees.
On the whole the schools main interest is to grab the parents money. The teachers are not experienced and are not able to understand each child’s needs and mould them accordingly. On the whole I am disappointed and would take my child who is now in the school out as sooon as i can.
Kindly think of better established schools for long term for your child as this school will continue to extract large amts of money only.

Hi today I went to the school and i enquired about the fees. its Annual fee is 30000/- and admission fee is 25000 and Term fees 15500/- * 3 = 46500/-.
This will increase every year by 10% (approximately). I dont know what is the is this the rental? or its business?
No value for money.
thanks

Hi,
We live in Kasturinagar and this is naturally our first choice as a school for our son’s Pre KG admission. Here are some facts about the school –
1. The school is new and the construction now seems conplete from outside.
2. They do not have any play gound but small area for toddlers slides, swings, a small are for cricket net practice and a backetball court. There is no other playground area, even around the school.
3. The feel structure informed to us is as follows (which was informed to us after much of pestering and with a lot of reluctance)
a. Term Fee – Rs. 14000/- pwer term (3 terms a year)
b. Annual Fee – Rs. 20,000/- (The teacher claimed ignorance as to what fee this is and suggested we ask the Principal if called for admission)
c. Abmission Fee – Rs. 25,000/- (one time feee)
d. Over and above one needs to pay for books, uniform, shoes, etc. separately.
Overall we find this way too much for Pre KG. We are not sure if we are considering this even though this school is at walking distance for us.

True Lankesh, this school have hiked fees from 40 K to 70 K. This is absolutely shit and not acceptable during this costlier times. The charges are equivalent to studying medicine or engineering fees. Govt or people should definitely take a action against this school in squeezing the fees like blood sucking worms.

This school is hiking fees during even recession, as though they are going to provide doctorate when completing 10th class.
Every year infact the school should reduce the fees for old students, but this is the only school which is hiking fees abruptly.
Till now they have not provided any ID cards to students even after collecting the fees of Rs. 60 from students in LKG. This is a hopeless school, they are good at money minting only.
If any one has black money this is a ideal school to spend and convert to white money.

I found the school very good. Infact the teachers are very cooperative and the management is very friendly and approachable. My daughter is studying in KG 1 and enjoys going to school as the teachers are very good. they have a playground for kids with slides and other stuffs and also i see the older children playing basketball etc. Sports is very much encouraged along with extra curricular activities.

We have admitted our son 3.7 by June 201o to LKG. I got a call from presidency school , Bannerghatta road, and they asked me to come to school on 5th April 2010 to may payment for uniform Rs1800/- per set (not sure why so huge amount per set of uniform) and Rs900/- for books. Is this the usual charge this school collects amount for uniforms or are they taking us for a ride? Is this uniform available outside in some shops where we can get for lesser cost? please advice

School building is still getting constructed.
No proper playground.
school is asking to pay admission/tution fees in cash which makes things fishy whether school wants to cheat on Income tax .
No other school I remember ask to pay such a big amount in cash

Thanks for the comments Kavita.
I am looking for a good school for my daughter. I did not see any playground for nursery kids in this school and the school admin said that very soon there will be a play area in the vacant plot in front of the school.
Is that true? Where do kids play in the school?
Any other comments about the school will help us greatly is deciding the right school.
Thanks,
-Vinay
