Any glorious chapter in history has to make a beginning somewhere, humble or otherwise. And so it was for the Kumarans. The eventful journey that it would to turn out to be in later years, it all began quite unpretentiously in 1959. The ship set off on its productive voyage, under the able and visionary guidance of late Smt. R.A. Devi, who put her enthusiastic and zealous efforts into the initial phases of the institution. Today Kumarans, as a group of institutions, rightfully takes its place among those that impart quality education. It stands as an edifice of the dream mission of its founder. The voyage of success continues, stretching to greater heights and glory.

Not sure about their selection criteria. I have submitted the application form for admission to nursery for my 3 years kid and there is no response (I felt atleast a fair chance to attend the interview should have been given and then it’s upto them whether to give an admission or not). People talk and write great things about these schools. But, I some how doubt all these. When we had taken a day’s time of ours to fill and submit the form there should have been atleast a response from the school authorities.

I have got the admission for the son in SKHC, in dilemma to go ahead or not. Any help on this regard is highly appreciated. I have heard selecting the stream (CBSE, ISCE, State ) is solely decided by the principal / commitee. If anyone has experienced on this, kindly post message

The first thing that strikes when we enter the school is the space and now that the school has moved to Mallasandra campus, there is greenery all around. The infrastructure is excellent. All our queries are answered patiently at the reception. When my child is mildly sick,I don’t worry much
because he is in safe hands.Again, teachers respond courteously when we enquire about the child’s health. In the academic front, parents feel less burdened by home assignments as children are taught to work independently. All the teachers are my son’s favourite. He loves spending time in the wellstocked library. It is a great learning experience for him..

Sri Kumaran Children’s Home,CBSE was the first choice for us when we decided to put our son in school. And it has been a decision that we have never had to regret. The school is now located in a scenic place with lots of greenery.Primary school children learn a myriad of things from pottery to shlokas to hands on projects. My son enjoys science and Math, thanks to the school.Teachers are courteous and answer queries patiently. My son looks forward to going to school everyday!
