2Both my kids are studying in freedom international. The teachers here are not that experienced. my son is in primary section. they dont follow any methodology in teaching. they just rush, finish of the terms portion, without even bothering to give them little bit of notes or even time to study each lesson. this puts a lot of pressure on the kid. surprisingly they do not give the corrected test papers home. parents only are allowed to see the papers during PTM, which cannot be taken with them. personally, just seeing the test paper a glance cannot identify the mistakes done by my son in the paper. tests are to rectify the mistakes and not to repeat the mistakes. if the children does not understand the mistakes done by them they will never correct it. i do not know what the school is losing by giving the test papers home.

4We would like to know when the admissions will start for FIS. Also recently we came to know that there was a small mishap (cement fell off from the roof). How did the school respond?
Any suggestions from parents will be greatly appreciated.
thanks,

5Hi
We are evaluating Freedom International School(HSR) and BRS school of Global Excellance(near sarjpur road). We would like to know about FIS from the parents. Our kid is to go to the nursery class. since the school starts from 8.30, how do they look after the child till 12.30? Do they see to it that the kid eats her food, goes to toilet, etc?

I suggest you should consider this school as last option. The management is very bad and building of the is also not complete and now not sure how they can complete the work along with the class. I am planning to move my daughter from this school. Principle is very rude. Also heard that most of the good teachers are moving out of this school.

6The management responded with utmost alacrity and have instituted measures to prevent any repetition of such incidents. In addition, their immediate interaction with the parents speaks volumes about their care and concern for the children.

7my children are studying in f.i.s my daughter is in class 4 and my son is class 1 my son was one of the injured in the class when a portion of the cement fell from the roof and the school staff call and say that it was a minor injury which occurred in the class they dont have any respect and felling towards the children in school
the school had a promising and shining start in the beginning had faded away like its building
i believe if the roof has to fall the standard of construction in building is worst and not worth for a school
the entire management has to call us and tell what went wrong in the school
i will certainly not let my children to continue in the school for next year

10Both my children go to FIS, they are doing a good job. The best part about this school is , the teachers are very approachable and ready to help us with any issue relating to our children. The children are learning so much without feeling the pressure of academics, the method adopted to teach important concepts are practical and exceptionally good. The children also enjoy a lot of extracirricular activities and they are learning so many important lifeskills with these activities. Great Job FIS!!
But I also wish the children enjoy a spacious sports complex and the construction of the building is completed within this summer vacations .

12FIS is a very good school .My son joined this school from LKG and its two years and he is turned into a smart and aware child. Teachers are experienced and are able to handle all kinds of students. I am so gald that they have come with hobby classes and day-care. The balance between academics and extra-curriculars is very good. They are comparatively new, but they hold a very good position in coming years. They are well located too. The fee structure is low as compared to other schools but the quality of education is very good. Apart from PTA, they hold seminars and interaction sessions which are very educative and they are open to listen to parents. All the laboratories are well set. My son even goes to computer lab and library. Overall it is a very good school providing good education to its students.

13My kid goes to Pre-primary for last 2 years and my experience with the school has been positive. My kid enjoys going to school and that’s what matters the most to me. The teachers are caring and the school staff is open to listen. This school has one of the best infrastructure (still under construction) compared to other schools in the area. Since this is a new school, there are areas for improvement. I think and wish in few years the school will become a reputed one in it’s vicinity.

14My Son has been studying in FIS for the past couple of years and i have been fairly satisfied with the school. Teachers are good and approachable. Class strength has been maintained below 30 as promised.
The method of education and examination is also good with emphasis on learning concepts that on rote learning.
The only concern is lack of sporting facility as promised.
The school has been advertising their sports complex but it is not anywhere to be seen. Sports develops leaders and team work which surely is lacking in the school.
Overall a value for money school considering the location, decent infrastructure, teaching methodology, curriculum etc

15Hi. My daughter is studying in LKG in Freedom Int. I want to share my exerience with the school. When i started the search for a good school as all parents do,i had coice between NPS, Cambridge,DPS, Freedom Int, I wanted a school close to our area as i live in Koramangala 1st Block, and also a very good academic school. Then serach got narrower and i had to select a brand DPS and new Freedom Int. I went ahed and selected Freedom Int and it is a year and i am too satisfed with the school. Firstly my child leaves home at 8:05am. The staff is very good and the cirriculum follwed is very good. They have follwed and taught all that was promised. They also have hobby classes. My child’s IQ and knowledge has also increased. Teh school is well equipped with labs and all other activity material. For all the parents who are looking for value of money, great education for your child, to give your child a healthy and cooperative school environment and just not going by any brand name, Freedom Int is the one!

16Hi all,
I have visited Freedom International School for my son’s admission. The staff, right from reception didn’t seem to be polite. I was wondering why, until I met principal. She’s the reason for this. She has big attitude, very adament and arrogant. She refused admisstion for my son to 5th grade, saying that he’s 3 months under-aged to that class, so asking me to put my son into 4th grade. But in reality, he qualifies to 5th grade, per CBSE, and I realized it a bit later after meeting her. She is highly money minded, and thus wants my son to go for 4th grade. That’s rubbish. Parents, please watchout.
I went to many other schools while searching, and every where the treatment was good, except in this school. I pray God to teach her a lesson.

25Both my children are studying at Freedom international school and i am extremely happy with the teachers and the caring atmosphere in the school.there is a lot of security for the children also- more than i have seen in other schools. as soon as a concern crops up, it is looked into and taken care of. the fee raise was done after two years and has gone up by only 4 thousand a year. so soon, all the labs are in place and every time we visit the school, we see a lot of improvements happening. my kids are happy to go to school in the morning. i think the school is real value for money. the school has started hobby classes and day care also this year. i am happy with the way they look into details and freely meet us throughout the year to discuss our children.

26When I was looking for a school for my daughter(a year back), after visiting quite a few schools, I narrowed down on Freedom Int’l and Bethany (proximity to where I live and other factors).
I was impressed with Freedom and the fact that they would have only 25 kids / class.
At this time, they were just about a year old and were still lacking in terms of infrastructure etc. But they seemed committed, so I went ahead with the admissions.
I had my issues with the school during the first year, but all mostly related to new school teething troubles. I was impressed with teh fact that they stuck to their 25 kids per class promise.
When I went to the school on the last day of the school year; I was in for a shock when I was updated on the new fee structure. They had increased the tuition fees by 20% in one year!
I thought, maybe it is a one time thing… and since obviously I did not have alternate admissions, I decided to continue with the same school.
The first day of the 2nd year for my daughter, I get another shock - there are now 29 to 30 kids per class! They have increased the transportation fees and a lot of kids have to stand in the bus for lack of space.
I am very frustrated with the lack of organization / planning skills in that school, but it is too late to pull my daughter out of that school that too in teh middle of the school year.
Their fees are probably comparable to other well-established institutions, but the facilities are way below the expected levels…
I am however happy with the teachers my daughter has had so far… no complaints there…
Overall, I think there are better schools out there for the same quality / cost of education.
